Accessibility and parking

The exhibitions are in buildnings from the 19th century. Because of the age of the buildings, they have limited access. The museum building and Slaggbyggnaden have small rooms, thresholds and stairs. Our goal is to make the shed accessible by a wheelchair.

In the bakery there is a collection of props available to use. Most of them are domestic items from the end of the 19th century. A visit to the bakery can also be arranged for e.g. those with limited vision.

Customer toilet is located on the second floor of the museum. Unfortunately the museum does not have an invalid toilet. Outdoor toilets free of charge are found by the Fiskars market square.

Parking lots are located at the Tohtorin tori (Peltorivi 26) next to the Fiskars Museum. The main building is on a hill about 50 metres from the parking lot. You can also park on other parking lots in Fiskars, and have the opportunity to take an idyllic walk along Peltorivi. Distance from the market square is about 500 metres and from the Assembly Hall parking lot is about 1.2 kilometres.
