Do you have items, photographs or archive material connected to the Fiskars Ironworks or Pohja? The museum collects items and photograps related to the Fiskars Ironworks. They do not always have to be old, because we also collect information and items of life at the Ironworks today. Items for the props collection are mainly used to educational purposes.

The Pohja local history archive accepts archive materials of local history from the old Pohja municipality. These are for example documents of associations or farms, private letters, diaries and so forth. The age of the archive documents does not matter. If possible, the archive also accepts digital material.

Please always contact us in advance if you wish to donate something. First the archivist decides if the donation fits into one of our collections. Then the donation is agreed on and an agreement written. Even if we cannot accept every donation, we are grateful for every offer! We can also direct the donation to some of the museums in Western Uusimaa we cooperate with.
