Research
Welcome to examine the museum's collections and do research in Fiskars Ironworks history. By visiting the museum you will see part of the collections. If you wish to see collections in our repository, please contact us in advance. You do not have to have previous experience in research, we would be glad to help!
At the moment, we are working on digitisation to enhance accessibility to our collections, In the future you will be able to see the museum's items and picture collections through the Internet. If you wish to examine items from other museums, see the Finnish Museums online or Finna portal. In the website of the National Library you will find digitised prints like the Fiskars catalogue, which will help you with your research on items. The National Board of Antiquities keeps a record of cultural environment such as relics and constructed environments. The latter also includes ironworks milieus. At Kysy museolta (Ask the Museum) museums answear your questions.
