Standing exhibitions in the main buildning

In the Ancient room on the ground floor you can find objects from the iron works and from the surrounding areas' early stages. The Industry room has a fine collection of industrial products made by skilled blacksmiths and casters. The Association and Leisure room shows how people enjoyed their spare time. The Workers room with its genuin decor shows how close upon each other the workers and their family members had to live.

The Gentry's room on the first floor presents an officials salon in the late 19th century, while the schoolroom tells about education and civilization at the Iron works. The officeroom reminds the visitor of the buildning´s history and the officials work.

Exhibitions in the Slaggbuilding

In the Slaggbuildning you can find a standning exhibitions in the attic that shows different livingconditions; a Widow's room and a Bachelor's room. The medical care at Fiskars iron works is presented in a small exhibition. On the ground floor different specialexhibitions are held mostly in the summer.

The museum´s summer Opening

- The summerexhibition open in the main buildning from 11 a.m. - Kalle´s Tinnworkshop. In the shed next to the museum´s main buildning. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Materials fee €3 per person).
- Lulla serves mulled coffee and juice for all visitors in the baking shed!

The museum´s Christmas Opening

- The traditional Christmas exhibition opens in the main buildning at 11 a.m. - Workshop - we will tell fortunes by casting tinn. In Slaggbyggnaden 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Materials fee €2 per person).
- We serve mulled claret and ginger biscuits for all visitors!
